Table and cart by grill size
Match the table to the exact grill, because an "18 inch" label doesn't tell you enough. A cart cut for one brand can be wrong for another, even at the same grid size.
Two examples of a "fits" that fails
- BBQGuys' answer on the Primo steel cart says it won't work with Vision grills.
- BBQGuys' kamado sleeve (a built-in insert) lists the Primo Oval XL and Oval Large as too wide for it. It lists the Kamado Joe Classic and the Large and XL Big Green Egg as fits.
Both of those are one store's word, not the maker's. Treat them as a reason to check, not as the final answer.
Cooking area by Big Green Egg size
If you're sizing a table around an Egg, cooking area is the number that sorts the models. Big Green Egg's US and European sites agree on all four below once the European square centimeters are converted.

We left out the 2XL. The US page says 672 sq in. The European page says 4,185 sq cm, which is about 649 sq in. That is a real disagreement and we haven't settled it.

Before you order any of them
- Measure the grill with its feet or nest on. Kamado Joe's Classic uses three feet, and the Big Joe uses four.
- Check the weight. A Vision kamado that one builder weighed came in around 220 lb, and a table has to hold that for years.
- Ask whether the grill needs a metal nest or an air gap under it. Big Green Egg says its Egg does. Details are on the wood and heat page.
